CDs and DVDs are available in different shapes and sizes. Labelling can be done by either direct printing or with stickers, and discs can be packed in custom paper pouches, plastic sleeves, or jewel cases.
For audio discs, DESCO can copy CD-TEXT and ISRC codes if they are present on the supplied master.
CD Labeling:
DESCO Print Center offers CD labeling services. DESCO can print CD labels and sleeves.
DESCO can also print directly on CDs and DVDs. Direct printing is recommended because using adhesive labels is not advisable.
The acidic glue on labels can eventually damage the data layer of a CD or DVD.
If the label comes off while spinning at high speed, it may also damage the drive.
Printing the label directly on the disk is much safer.
